Lewis Capaldi said Monday he is “absolutely devastated” to have to cancel two upcoming concerts due to illness.
The 26-year-old singer told fans in a message he shared on social media that he was diagnosed with bronchitis following his show in Stockholm on Sunday night.
Capaldi said he was told “I should be on vocal rest for at least 3 days to give me any chance of not damaging my voice and being able to continue touring.”
Tuesday’s stop in Zurich and Wednesday’s in Milan have been pushed to June 28 and May 31, respectively. Capaldi hopes to resume the tour on March 10 in Barcelona.
