Liam Gallagher took to Twitter on Sunday to reveal the title of the first single off his upcoming debut album, As You Were.
The ex-Oasis frontman said the song is called “Not for Sale.”
He then went on a Twitter roll, vowing to sing his former band’s songs better than brother Noel Gallagher (who wrote most Oasis songs).
“To all you NG fanboys I can and will sing any song he wrote bigger better than him even if I was kicked in the bollox by a wood pigeon,” Liam tweeted.
He said he’ll open his live shows with “Don’t Look Back In Anger” and close with “Rocking Chair” — adding “‘bout time they were done proper.”
Gallagher also tweeted: “To the people who dig what I'm about I know you'll freak out as its proper to the people who hate what I'm about I hope it sends you mad.
“I give you universal gleam I'll help you fix your broken dream I'll give you something you can shout about I won't ever let you down.”
Gallagher is set to play a few solo shows this summer in Europe and will be at Osheaga in Montreal on August.
