Gene Gallagher, the 19-year-old son of Canadian singer Nicole Appleton and former Oasis brother Liam Gallagher, will stand trial in January on charges of fighting in public and racially aggravated assault.
Also facing charges in connection to an incident last May at a Tesco Express store in Hamptead, North London, is Sonny Starkey, the 19-year-old grandson of ex-Beatles drummer Ringo Starr.
Gallagher and Starkey, along with model friend Noah Ponte, 20, are accused of attacking store employees Shium Patel and Horan Rajput.
The three young men pleaded not guilty last week and are due back in court on Jan. 18, 2021.
Gallagher’s mother Nicole Appleton, who was born and raised in Ontario, was a member of All Saints and was married to Liam Gallagher from 2008 to 2014.
