Lil Wayne walked off stage early on Thursday night and suggested that he’s quitting his joint tour with Blink-182.
According to reports, the rap star interrupted his set in Virginia to tell the crowd: “Please forgive me. I’m not used to performing to a crowd and there’s not too many… you know, that’s not my swag.”
Wayne was referring to a lack of his fanbase in the crowd. "I'm not sure how long I'm going to be able to do this tour," he said. "But make some noise for Blink-182 for including me anyway. This might be my last night, though.”
He left the stage after doing only four tracks.
It was only the ninth show on the tour, which kicked off on June 29 and runs until September. The next show is scheduled for Saturday in Maine.
Wayne was not scheduled to be a part of the Toronto show on July 7 and won’t join Blink-182 at its July 14 festival gig in Quebec City.
The tour was announced in May along with a mashup of Blink-182’s 1999 hit “What’s My Age Again?” and Lil Wayne’s 2008 track "A Milli.”
