Rapper Lil Xan announced Thursday he is planning to go to rehab.
In an Instagram post, the 22-year-old (whose real name is Diego Leanos) told fans about a track he added to SoundCloud. “rehab in 3 days I wanna leave my fans with some new music before.”
The timeline, though, is interesting given that he followed up with a post promoting a Nov. 28 show in L.A. that he captioned: “My last show before I head out !”
Xan told TMZ the overdose death of Mac Miller hit close to home. “I know we struggle with the same problems and I just feel like it’s time to get better,” he said.
The rapper said he is addicted to “a lot of opioids.”
