Lil Yachty is being accused of assaulting a man at the Rolling Loud festival in Los Angeles last year.
Jimmy Quivac has filed a lawsuit against the 23-year-old rapper, whose real name is Miles McCollum, alleging assault, battery and intentional infliction of emotional distress.
TMZ reported that Quivac claims Yachty and members of his entourage attacked him as he made his way through a crowd and accidentally bumped into one of them. Quivac alleges Yachty punched him and then his crew stomped on him as he lay on the ground.
He claims to have suffered injuries.
In a video Yachty posted last December and has since deleted, he claimed “a guy walked in the middle of my group of people and pushed me. Not tapped me, like pushed me out of the way.” The rapper insisted “I’m not a problematic person. I don’t just pick fights with people.”
