Linkin Park will go on without Chester Bennington.
“I don’t know what we’re going to do, but we’ll figure it out eventually,” band member Mike Shinoda said during a recent Instagram Live session.
One thing Shinoda said is for sure is that Linkin Park will not tour with a hologram of Bennington, who died in July.
“There’s absolutely no way,” he told fans. “I can’t do a hologram Chester you guys, that would be the worst.
“For any of you guys who have lost a loved one, best friend, family member, can you imagine having a hologram of them? Awful. I can’t do it.”
A hologram of the late Ronnie James Dio is currently on a world tour. Holograms of Tupac Shakur and Michael Jackson have also been used at live shows.
