A list of the “50 Worst Rappers” has gone viral, sparking fierce debate on social media.
At No. 1 on the list is Magoo (aka Melvin Barcliff), who was one-half of Timbaland & Magoo. The duo had success in 1997 with “Up Jumps Da Boogie.”
Among the rappers on the list are Vanilla Ice, Iggy Azalea, Ludacris, Logic, Nick Cannon, Flo Rida and French Montana. Tyga and 21 Savage also made the cut.
On social media, rap fans can’t help but weigh in.
“Whoever made the ‘Top 50 Worst Rappers’ list gotta fight me,” one tweeted. Another wrote: “This list got some names that are nowhere near the top 50 worst rappers ever.”
Someone tweeted: “Y’all just disrespectful ......most of these artist have platinum records and sell out shows.”

If you make a "50 worst rappers of all time" list and include Ludacris, I will believe literally nothing you say.

You could say, "I have a cranium" and I'll be like, "send me a pic, Sleepy Hollow."
Some fans defended individual artists (“Putting Ludacris on the worst rapper's list is ludicrous!”) while others suggested replacements (“You can take Cassidy, Ludachris and Bow Wow off and add Megan the Stallion, Baby Bash and Pitbull”).
At least one person singled out the person who compiled the list. “How lame does one have to be to make a 50 worst rappers list,” he tweeted.
Not everyone disagreed with the choices. Someone tweeted at French Montana: “You should of definitely been on the top.”
