Ariana Grande can’t hold back her excitement for her new collaboration with Cashmere Cat. The singer took to Twitter to share a snippet of the song along with a string of emojis before Cashmere Cat’s album, 9, is released tomorrow (Apr. 28).
“You sit battling the devil you know / And I don't disagree/ No, I don't see the harm/ They say: ‘You're crazy, just leave him he'll suffocate you’/ But I wanna be in your arms,” she sings on the fast-tempo EDM ballad.
The 29-year-old Norwegian DJ played the song for fans during a set on Wednesday (Apr. 26), and it could very well be the song of the summer. This marks the third collab between Grande and the Norwegian producer, who have teamed up before for “Be My Baby” and later on the song “Adore”. The song is an entry on Cashmere Cat’s debut album, and is one of many amazing collaborations the DJ has in store.
Other collaborators on 9 include R&B star Kehlani, Selena Gomez, Ty Dolla $ign and ex-Fifth Harmony member Camila Cabello.
