It sure feels good to love someone! Country star Brett Eldredge is back with a new, stripped-back single released Friday (June 9), called “Love Someone”. It’s the second release from his self-titled album.
The “Somethin’ I’m Good At” singer will debut the track live on Late Night with Seth Meyers Monday (June 12).
“I’m so excited about this new album – it lets me fully express myself and all of my emotions in depth,” said Eldredge. “‘Love Someone’ is track No. 1 on the album and a great way to start the adventure!”
Eldredge was also recently honoured for… public urination? The singer received a plaque for peeing on the Warner Music building back when he was a college student in Nashville, Tennessee. It was a spot he frequently stopped by for a whizz before heading to a downtown karaoke bar, apparently.
Warner’s CEO John Esposito (who signed Eldredge) and chief marketing officer, Peter Strickland, awarded the singer a plaque placed just at the correct, er, height on the side of the Warner complex.
“We thought this story was amazing,” Esposito said. “We felt like not only you had to mark your spot, but we had to mark it, as well. You have to unveil it.”
