Camila Cabello has released “Living Proof,” another track from her forthcoming album Romance.
The song seductively conflates themes of religion and passion.
“Like a choir singing hallelujah when my body’s crashing right into you,” Cabello sings. "Where did you come from, baby?/ And were you sent to save me? Ooh, there’s a God in every move / Ohh, and you’re living proof.”
While fans might want to believe the song is about Cabello’s beau Shawn Mendes, she first teased it back in February.
Earlier this week Cabello announced that her sophomore solo album will drop Dec. 6 and she will once again launch a tour in Vancouver on July 29, 2020. (Cabello kicked off her Never Be The Same Tour in Vancouver in April 2018.)
The Romance Tour includes two other Canadian dates: Sept. 4 in Toronto and Sept. 12 in Laval. Tickets for Vancouver and Toronto go on sale Nov. 15 at 10am local time and tickets for Laval go on sale Nov. 20 at 10am.
