If you think you’re hearing Chris Martin on the new track “E-Lo” by Los Unidades and Pharrell Williams featuring Jozzy… you are.
The song is one of four on the Global Citizen EP 1, curated by Martin.
Earlier this week, his band Coldplay’s record label tweeted about a “new signing” called Los Unidades and included the code “Y02LPAC81ODL” – which unscrambles to spell “Coldplay 2018.”
They will perform “E-Lo” at this Sunday’s Global Citizen Festival: Mandela 100 in South Africa, where Beyoncé, Jay-Z, Ed Sheehan, Kasey Musgraves, and Usher are also among the artists.
