DJ Khaled has released a new collaboration with Canadian hip hop superstar Drake. Titled “To the Max”, it’s a breakneck track which samples U.K. producer T2’s “Heartbroken”, a 2007 song featuring English singer and songwriter Jodie Aysha.
“I talk grey, I don't keep it white and black/ Only say ‘I love you’ just so I can hear it back/ Sometimes, other times I'd love to have you back/ Can't think of a night that we ain't turn up to the max,” Drake sings on the track.
The song will appear on Khaled’s upcoming album Grateful, due out June 23. Khaled also revealed the album’s artwork on Instagram, which shows his infant son Asahd lounging in a small pool. “GOD IS THE GREATEST! #GRATEFUL #JUNE23,” he wrote in the caption. “WOW!! This is my 10th Album! And this is my sons First Album! TEARS OF JOY!!!”
Grateful will include “To the Max” as well as the previously released Billboard chart topper, “I’m the One” featuring Quavo, Chance the Rapper and Justin Bieber.
Grateful is released June 23 via Epic. Listen to “To the Max” below:
