We’re less than two months away from the release of Disney's Beauty and the Beast live action remake and a full-length trailer for the upcoming film has surfaced featuring Ariana Grande and John Legend's remake of the iconic title track theme song.
During the Monday episode (Jan. 30) of "The Bachelor," a two-and-a-half minute trailer for the film aired on ABC and gives viewers a taste of the duo’s remake. Based off the snippet, it stays true to the original cut, with the duo trading lines during the opening verse.
“Beauty and the Beast” was originally sung by actress Angela Lansbury and later rerecorded by Celine Dion and Peabo Bryson for the soundtrack to the original 1991 animated film. In case you were wondering its impact, the song won an Academy Award, Golden Globe and Grammy Award that year.
Thankfully, Dion won't be too far from the project as she'll contribute a new song called “How Does A Moment Last Forever” to the film's soundtrack, which drops on Mar. 10. Beauty and the Beast hits theatres on March 17.
