Lil Nas X on Wednesday released “Seoul Town Road,” a remix of his hit “Old Town Road” featuring RM of BTS.
It will be the “last one i PROMISSEE,” he tweeted.
There have been three other official remixes of the track – one with Billy Ray Cyrus, one by Diplo, and one with Young Thug and Mason Ramsey. The song is spending its 16th week at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100, matching records held by “One Sweet Day” by Mariah Carey and Boyz II Men and “Despacito” by Luis Fonsi and Daddy Yankee.
“Seoul Town Road” has a reworked chorus that mentions “homi,” a popular Korean garden tool.
“I got the homis in my back / Have you heard of that? / Homis made of steel from Korea, they the best / Riding to the farm / Grabbing all the corn / We gon’ get yo’ money with my homi in your backyard.”
