Canadian hip hop icon Maestro Fresh Wes is marking the home opener of his hometown Toronto Raptors on Thursday by dropping a track called “Jurassic Park.”
The song is part of his new album Coach Fresh, which is set for release on Nov. 17.
Named for the nickname given to the square outside Toronto’s Air Canada Centre, where fans gather during Raptors games, “Jurassic Park” features Rich Kidd, who also produced it.
Wes, 49, is best known for his 1989 smash “Let Your Backbone Slide.”
His eighth studio album, Coach Fresh features collaborations with Danko Jones, Ivana Santilli, Saukrates and many others.
