Marshmello has gifted us with a brand new track a little more than a week ahead of the 2018 iHeartRadio MMVAs.

“Happier” features UK group Bastille.

"When the evening falls and I'm left there with my thoughts / And the image of you being with someone else / Well, it's eating me up inside," sings Bastille's frontman Dan Smith. "But we ran our course / We pretended we're okay / Now if we jump together at least we can swing far away from the wreck we made."

Bastille tweeted: "Last year we wrote a song called ‘Happier’ which we thought would be great as a collaboration. We had a lot of fun getting to work on it with Marshmello who managed to find some joy in the melancholy.

“It’s always good to step into somebody else’s world for a minute.”

Marshmello scored a big hit with “FRIENDS” featuring Anne-Marie (who will join him on the iHeartRadio MMVAs stage on Aug. 26). Bastille is prepping for the release of their third album.
