Meghan Trainor is back with another attitude-filled anthem for the women called "I'm A Lady," her just-released cut from the fully-animated feature film Smurfs: The Lost Village.
Produced by The Monsters and the Strangerz, the retro-pop track is full of sass and the perfect addition to her Thank You era. "And I don't look like them/ I don't talk like them/ But I know I'm a gem/ I ain't worried about it, I ain't worried about it/ 'Cause I'm a lady," she sing-talks during the chorus.
Folks on the M-Train will also be happy to know that the singer's mother helped her pen the tune. "Thank you to my mama for helping me write this sassy/powerful song Kellia Trainor. She won't admit it but she was by my side supporting me while I wrote it," Trainer explained in a post on Instagram.
