Metallica has shared the final demo version of “Master of Puppets,” the title track of their 1986 album.
Recorded in 1985 in a garage in California, it has a few different lyrics and a slightly different guitar solo than the version that was recorded and released.
The demo is one of several featured on the “Riffs, Demos and Outtakes” disc included in Metallica’s deluxe box set of a remastered Master of Puppets.
The collection is out Nov. 10.
