Pitbull has released “I Believe That We Will Win” – a song he describes as a “new world anthem” in the “movement against COVID-19.”
Proceeds from the single, which the rap star recorded while on lockdown in Miami, will benefit U.S. charities like Feeding America and the Tony Robbins Foundation.
“You know what spreads faster than any virus is fear,” Pitbull says on the track. “When it comes to fear you can either forget everything and run or you can face everything and rise.”
Pitbull teased his new anthem late last month. “If there’s any time to check in for the world, it’s right now,” he said in a video he shared on social media. “Now’s when we gotta stick together, we gotta to fight hard, show how powerful it is when we come together.”
The rapper has put out a call for fans to contribute to the official video for the song. Details are available here.
“Shoot a personal video of you singing the highlighted parts back to Pitbull while doing the ‘I Believe’ choreography. Feel free to add your own personal flavour! Add your country’s flag, your uniform, and your own fun moves.”
