Selena Gomez has shared “Feel Me,” a four-year-old song that was previously only available on special vinyl editions of her new album Rare.
The pop star performed the track during her 2016 Revival tour and didn’t seem keen to release it when a fan asked about it during a Twitter Q&A last month. “That song was from when I was in a different place,” Gomez replied, “and doesn’t fit with where I am right now.”
“Feel Me” is about the aftermath of a relationship.
“Won't be caught up in the middle / of your highs and your lows/ Baby, 'long as you're not with me / You'll always be alone," Gomez sings. “Every time your lips touch another / I want you to feel me.”
Gomez released Rare, her third studio album and first since 2015, last month.
