The Weeknd premiered “Heartless” overnight and… well, brace yourself.
“TONIGHT WE START A BRAIN MELTING PSYCHOTIC CHAPTER,” the Toronto singer tweeted. “LET’S GOOOO.”
The track opens with The Weeknd declaring “Never need a b***h / I’m what a b***h needs” and goes on to boasting that “I’ve been running through the p***y” and getting “so much p****y it be falling out the pocket” and promising to “turn that p***y to a faucet.”
Why? “‘Cause I’m heartless and I’m back to my ways / ‘cause I’m heartless.”
Of course, The Weeknd also sings about “duffel bags full of drugs” and how “amphetamine got my stummy feeling sickly.”
The song is out two days before the debut of “Blinding Lights.”
His most recent studio album, Starboy, was released in November 2016 but he kept fans satisfied by dropping the EP My Dear Melancholy last year. This year, he appeared on the Gesaffelstein track “Lost in the Fire” and with SZA and Travis Scott on “Power Is Power.”
