They performed it on the CMT Music Awards, and now Little Big Town has announced “When Someone Stops Loving You” as their new single. The song follows the No. 1 song “Better Man” and “Happy People” as the third single from their latest album The Breaker.The band’s Karen Fairchild reveals “When Someone Stops Loving You,” which was written by frequent LBT collaborators Lori McKenna and Hillary Lindsey as well as Chase McGill, one of the group’s favourites. “I love the everyday man’s poetry that’s in that song,” she says. “You know, we’ve all felt that. I love that it says, ‘It don’t make the evening news.’ ... Your life goes on. I mean everybody else’s life goes on and you’re back there in pain. This song really says that really well.”
