Nineties alt-rock acts Live and Bush have announced a joint summer tour to mark the 25th anniversary of their albums Throwing Copper and Sixteen Stone respectively.
There is only one Canadian stop on the tour, which kicks off June 6 in Connecticut and runs until Sept. 8. The bands are set to be a part of the Sound of Music Festival in Burlington, Ont. on June 8.
Live’s sophomore album Throwing Copper was released in April 1994 and went to No. 1 in Canada. The band hasn’t released a new studio album with frontman Ed Kowalczyk since 2006 but put out an EP last year.
Sixteen Stone, the debut album from Bush, came out in December 1994 and reached No. 4 in Canada. The band was on hiatus from 2002 to 2010 but has since released three studio albums, including 2017’s Black and White Rainbows.
