“You can't help someone who doesn't want your help.”

This is the heartbreaking tweet late Monday from LL Cool J after he reached out to former actress Maia Campbell to offer help and was refused.

A video surfaced online this week showing Campbell – who starred with LL Cool J on the ‘90s sitcom In the House – begging for crack while pumping gas. “I want some crack,” she says in the cellphone video, in which she also talks about being raped.

In response, the rapper-actor tweeted: “Instead of pulling out your phone and filming someone who's obviously having trouble. Maybe lend a helping hand? A kind word?”

On Instagram, LL Cool J asked for Campbell’s contact info.

The former TV star responded in a video message recorded at a salon where she said she works.

“I don’t need help, I just need a benefit concert for mental health,” said Campbell.

“I want him to do a benefit concert.”
