It looks like Madame Tussauds has finally done Beyoncé right.
The popular tourist attraction’s London location has taken the wraps off a new wax statue of the pop superstar that actually looks like her.
The figure depicts Beyoncé from her iconic 2018 Coachella performance.
“It’s time to bow down to THE QUEEN,” reads the caption on images shared by Madame Tussauds London on Instagram.
The statue will take its place among other music stars like Madonna, Lady Gaga, Ed Sheeran and Adele.
Madame Tussauds said its Las Vegas location will unveil another Bey figure next month.
In 2017, Madame Tussauds in New York City was forced to re-style its Beyoncé wax figure and adjust the lighting on it after complaints that the statue was too white.
Madame Tussauds said in a statement at the time: “Lighting within the attraction combined with flash photography may distort and misrepresent the colour of our wax figures, which is something our sculptors are unable to account for at the production stage.”
Last year, Louis Tussaud’s Waxworks in Niagara Falls, Ont. – not connected to Madame Tussauds – gave its statue of Beyoncé a new outfit after fans complained it looked nothing the singer.
