Madonna was one of many celebrity attendees present at Saturday’s Women’s March in D.C. However, her sermon quickly got cut short by broadcasters MSNBC and CNN.

Giving an impassioned speech to an estimated half a million people in attendance at the event in the nation’s capital, the singer empowered crowds with her words.

“Good did not win this election, but good will win in the end […] Let's march together through this darkness, and with each step know that we are not afraid. That we are not alone. That we will not back down. That there is power in our unity and that no opposing force stands a chance in the face of true solidarity.”

She went on to directly address those who saw fit to disparage the effort. “And to our detractors that insist that this march will never add up to anything: ‘F--k you! F--k you!’’

Shortly after shouting those expletives, her audio feed was cut from broadcast.

Other celebrities showing their support at demonstrations across the country included Katy Perry, Kristen Stewart, Cher, Lena Dunham, and Miley Cyrus.
