Are there sparks between superstar Céline Dion and super-producer David Foster?
Probably not — but according to OK! and Star, the two Canadians could end up together after many years as musical collaborators and friends.
Both magazines — which are published by the same company — published reports last week claiming that 67-year-old Foster has been comforting Dion, 48, since the loss of her beloved husband René Angelil last year.
“She trusts him, and they have a deep, soulful connection,” OK! magazine quoted an unnamed “friend” as saying.
Quoting an unnamed alleged source, Star claims Dion “blushes and says, ‘I love David, but he only dates supermodels’” whenever the subject of a romance comes up.
OK! claims its Foster who’s holding back. “He’d never step on René’s toes,” the supposed source said. “Céline has to make the first move when she’s ready.”

Dion and Foster teamed up to create such memorable recordings as “The Power of Love,” “All By Myself” and “Because You Loved Me.” He has been credited with making Dion's English-language career take off.
At a show in 2009, Dion introduced Foster as "a man that has been with me since he saw me sing in a tent in Quebec 20 years ago."
Foster is a Victoria native who ended his fourth marriage in 2015. Dion married Angelil in 1994 and has said “I never kissed another man in my life.”
In an interview last October with CBS Sunday Morning, Dion was asked if she believes in falling in love again, the singer said: “Not now.”
She explained: “I love. I love him. I’m still in love with him … I go to bed with him and I come onstage with him. So I’m still married to him.”
Dion previously told the Las Vegas Review-Journal said she is open to a new relationship — some day.
“I’m not there yet, though. I don’t know if I can sing in love again,” she explained. “Today, no. I can say that. I’m not. My heart is already taken. And for how long, maybe for the rest of my life.”
