Mandy Moore revealed this past weekend that she is plotting a return to music.
The 34-year-old, who hasn’t released a studio album since 2009, shared a clip on Instagram of a new demo.
“Getting back to it. It’s time. I miss it,” Moore wrote. “I’m not scared anymore. No more excuses. No more allowing someone’s else insecurities to dictate my relationship to music and singing. Boom.
“Also – this is just a little demo of something @themikeviola and I worked on yesterday... but still, it’s a start!”
Before she was Rebecca Pearson on the TV drama This Is Us, Moore released six albums and had a Top 40 hit in the U.S. with “I Wanna Be With You.”
