If you didn’t get enough drama on Mariah Carey’s “reality” series Mariah’s World, the superstar is working on something new.
Deadline reported Monday that Carey and her friend Brett Ratner will be executive producers of a still-untitled scripted drama series for U.S. cable channel Starz.
Set in New York City in the ‘80s, the show will follow the rise of “an ambitious bi-racial 16-year-old girl, an aspiring singer-songwriter who survived a difficult childhood to become the biggest selling female music artist of all time,” according to the report.
There’s been no official announcement about the show – so for now it's just a sweet "Fantasy," baby.
