Marilyn Manson left fans disappointed by dropping out of a concert Thursday night in Toronto.

An announcement was made at the Twins Of Evil: The Second Coming tour – which also features Rob Zombie – that Manson would not be performing due to an “unforeseen illness.”

Fans were told: “If you are here solely to see Marilyn Manson, you may get a full refund if you leave now and have your ticket scanned out of the system. Full refunds are available at your point of purchase.”

The news was met with boos from many in the crowd at the Budweiser Stage. Zombie performed as scheduled.

Manson and Zombie are scheduled to headline the Heavy Montreal festival on July 28 and 29.

Last year, Manson cancelled a Toronto concert after he was injured on stage during a show in New York City. In February, Manson abruptly ended his performance in Huntington, NY after only a few songs after suffering what fans described as a "meltdown."
