Meat Loaf is reportedly going on tour – but he won’t be singing.
According to The Sun, the 70-year-old rock icon will soon announce details of the Back Out Of Hell tour.
But after years of suffering voice problems, Meat Loaf is handing over singing duties to Caleb Johnson, winner of American Idol in 2014.
Meat Loaf will instead be on stage to tell stories about his career, including his relationship with composer Jim Steinman.
In 2016, Meat Loaf was accused of lip syncing during his live shows after he collapsed on stage in Edmonton and the vocals seemed to continue. (The rocker later denied the allegations.)
Last year, Meat Loaf was in Toronto to promote Bat Out Of Hell The Musical.
