Meghan Trainor has recorded the Friends theme song to perform on the 25th anniversary of the sitcom’s premiere.

The singer will debut her cover of “I’ll Be There For You” by The Rembrandts at the Empire State Building in New York City on Sept. 22 at 8:30 p.m. The song will be available to stream and download at midnight.

Trainor told Rolling Stone it was a “dream come true” to be able to cover the theme to a show she loves. “I’ve seen every episode multiple times now,” she said.

Trainor said she recorded her version of the song in her backyard studio with her brothers, husband and best friend doing backing vocals.

“We were just all laughing and in disbelief. Like, ‘How is this really happening?’ It was a big party, the best night,” she recalled.

Trainor’s husband Daryl Sabara played Owen, who Chandler accidentally tells he is adopted, in the episode titled "The One Where Ross Is Fine" during the final season of Friends.
