Metallica is taking a rather childish approach to sharing its history.
The band will publish The ABCs of Metallica later this year, a book that promises to chronicle its journey from Garage Days to Master of Puppets.
“We’re having a bit of fun with our latest book release, The ABCs of Metallica, available in stores and online on November 26th,” reads a message on Metallica’s Instagram. “Not only do you get a rhyming, illustrated history of Metallica from A to Z, but a portion of the proceeds from your purchase will go directly to [All Within My Hands], assisting us in supporting workforce education and the fight against hunger.”
The book, co-authored by Howie Abrams with illustrations by Michael “Kaves” McLeer, can be pre-ordered online for $18.99 U.S.
