Michael Bublé has reportedly pulled out of hosting the BRIT Awards next month to focus on caring for his son, who was diagnosed with liver cancer last year.
UK newspaper The Sun quoted a source as saying Bublé’s “priority is his family.”
There has been no confirmation from Bublé or his reps.
The BRIT Awards take place Feb. 22 at London’s O2 Arena. Nominees include Bublé's fellow Canadians Drake, The Weeknd and Leonard Cohen.
In November, Bublé and wife Luisana Lopilato shared the sad news that three-year-old Noah was battling cancer.
“We are devastated about the recent cancer diagnosis of our oldest son Noah who is currently undergoing treatment in the US,” read a statement from Bublé at the time. “We have always been very vocal about the importance of family and the love we have for our children.
“Luisana and I have put our careers on hold in order to devote all our time and attention to helping Noah get well.”
Bublé is also scheduled to host the Juno Awards in Ottawa on April 2.
