Ariana Grande fans are coming to her defence after actor Michael Rapaport took a cheap shot at the singer Wednesday on social media.
The 48-year-old posted a throwback pic of Grande and captioned it: “Ariana Grande is 27 acts 12, you take off those boots she hides her legs in, the cat eye make up and the genie pony tale and I think there’s hotter women working the counter at Starbucks no disrespect to Starbucks.”
The post, which Rapaport shared on Instagram, Twitter and Facebook, immediately came under fire as sexist and mean-spirited. (And many fans pointed out Grande is actually 25.)
The actor-comedian is unapologetic, telling those attacking him on Twitter to: "EAT Dwycks SnowFlakes."
On his podcast, Rapaport defended the post. “Just because it’s a woman doesn’t mean I’m shaming her,” he reportedly said. “Doesn’t mean I’m degrading to women.
“We know she’s talented. Obviously it’s a joke. I’m talking s**t.”
So far, there’s been no public response from Grande.
