Drake is being dropped from a Milwaukee radio station’s playlist while the Bucks and Toronto Raptors battle it out in the NBA playoffs.

WXSS 103.7 FM, known as Kiss FM, announced the “break from Drake” in a video message shared on Facebook.

In a blog post, station host Riggs explained the boycott is simply because the rap star is from Toronto “and has been a VERY vocal sideline spectator.”

He wrote: “Oh - its (sic) a song that features Drake? Nope. Sorry. Byeee. We can't take that chance.”

The station doesn’t plan to drop songs from other Toronto artists, like The Weeknd, Alessia Cara or Shawn Mendes.

“Why not a break from Shawn Mendes? Two reasons,” explained Riggs. “1. ‘Break from Shawn’ doesn't have as nice of a ring to it. 2. He's so damn cute! He's not standing up talking smack on the sidelines. You don't hear of a Shawn Mendes curse, do you?”

The Raptors v. Bucks series begins tonight.
