Grammy- and Oscar-winning composer Hans Zimmer is coming to Canada.
The 59-year-old behind the scores for The Lion King and Pirates of the Caribbean is doing his first tour of North America after performing at Coachella later this month.
Zimmer’s concerts will feature pieces from the movies he has scored as well as “re-imagined” versions of music from The Dark Knight trilogy and Inception with special guests on stage.
"I am very excited to get some of my very talented friends together and give our audiences an experience unlike any concert they have ever been to before,” Zimmer said in a release.
Zimmer’s tour will stop in Montreal’s Bell Centre on July 30 and Toronto’s Air Canada Centre on Aug. 1.
