Taylor Swift, Justin Timberlake and P!nk are among the music stars giving their stamp of approval to Joe Biden’s choice of running mate.
The presumptive Democratic nominee announced Tuesday he chose Kamala Harris to be the candidate for U.S. vice-president.
“YES,” exclaimed Swift in a tweet, while P!nk shared: “Real actual tears of joy over here in the Hart household.”
Harris, who attended Westmount High School in Montreal, is of Tamil and Afro-Jamaican descent. The 55-year-old is now the first

Sheryl Crow, Ciara, Toni Braxton and Mandy Moore also shared their excitement on social media. Nick Jonas opined that "Madame Vice President has a nice ring to it!"
John Legend said he was “very happy” and “very much looking forward to voting for the Biden-Harris ticket to begin the difficult work of recovering from this nightmare presidency and building an even better future.”
