Of course, the Raptors’ No. 1 cheerleader Drake had lots to say about the victory. “This is poetic, this is poetic,” he told reporters in Jurassic Park, the fan-gathering space outside Scotiabank Arena.
“We did this off of heart. We did this off of love. We willed this into existence. We manifested this. I told you the first time. People like to make memes—make another meme out of this. It’s beautiful.”
On Instagram, Drake announced he is celebrating by dropping two new tracks on Friday.
“THE CHIP TO THE 6!!!!!!!!!!!! SEE YOU 2MRW WITH A 2 PACK,” he wrote about “Omertá” and “Money in the Grave” ft. Rick Ross.
The rapper also posted a pair of pics of his beloved Raptors celebrating the win.
