Some of big names in music are lending their voices to One World: Together At Home, a virtual concert curated by Lady Gaga in support of health care workers and others impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic.
Appearing or performing on the two-hour special are artists like Billie Eilish and her brother FINNEAS, Chris Martin, Eddie Vedder, Elton John, J Balvin, John Legend, Kacey Musgraves, Keith Urban, Lizzo, Paul McCartney, Stevie Wonder and Canada’s Alanis Morissette.
Global Citizen launched an urgent campaign last month in support of the COVID-19 Solidarity Response Fund for the World Health Organization, powered by the UN Foundation.
“As we honour and support the heroic efforts of community health workers, One World: Together At Home aims to serve as a source of unity and encouragement in the global fight to end COVID-19,” said Hugh Evans, co-founder and CEO of Global Citizen, in a release.
“Through music, entertainment and impact, the global live-cast will celebrate those who risk their own health to safeguard everyone else’s.”
