Neil Young just announced his 38th album, Peace Trail, will be released on Dec. 2.
It's a 10-track album coming on the tail of EARTH, which came out last June.
The productive Canadian songwriter worked with notorious drummer Jim Keltner (Ringo Starr, Steve Miller Band and more), and bassist, Paul Bushnell (The Weeknd, Phil Collins, Michael Bublé, Tim McGraw among many others).
Produced with the help of John Hanlon (The Beach Boys, Neil Young, Cat Stevens), the album was recorded in the famous Shangri-La Studios in California.
The new album is so far being described as mostly acoustic in nature. The press release states that it “reflects an intimate, sparse approach that draws the listening into the heart of the songs in a personal way.”
