Neil Young has revealed he and Crazy Horse are recording their first album in seven years.
Responding to a fan’s query on his website, Young shared: “Crazy Horse is about to enter the studio with 11 new ones.”
The 73-year-old Canadian music legend said the new music will be released “this year.”
Young last worked with Crazy Horse on 2012’s Psychedelic Pill, although they have since played live together.
Crazy Horse currently consists of Billy Talbot, Ralph Molina and Nils Lofgren. The band has released nearly two dozen albums with Young and six studio albums of its own.
Young is set to perform, with Elvis Costello, on May 14 and 15 in Vancouver.
