Nelly was arrested Saturday after a woman claimed she was sexually assaulted by the rapper.
According to police in Auburn, Washington, the woman called 911 at 3:48 a.m. local time to say she had been raped in a tour bus parked outside a Walmart.
Officers arrested Nelly at 4:47 a.m. but he was released later in the day.
Nelly, whose real name is Cornell Haynes Jr., is currently on tour with Florida Georgia Line and had performed Friday night at the White River Amphitheatre. He was scheduled to perform Saturday night in Ridgefield, Washington, but has since cancelled the performance.
The "Hot in Herre" rapper's lawyer, Scott Rosenblum, called the allegation "completely fabricated" and motivated by "greed and vindictiveness."
