A pair of Rush bloggers have put together a book described as “the must-have tour compendium for Rush fans.”
Rush: Wandering The Face Of The Earth: The Official Touring History was compiled by Skip Daly and Eric Hansen and edited by Guitar World senior editor Richard Bienstock. Hugh Syme designed the cover.
The 416-page hardcover book includes a foreward by Les Claypool or Primus and an afterword by Stewart Copeland of The Police.
According to the official description, “Wandering the Face of the Earth covers Rush’s storied touring career, from their humble beginnings as a Toronto-area bar band playing middle school gymnasiums to their rise as one of the world’s most sought-after live acts, selling out massive arenas around the globe.
“This book includes every setlist, every opening act, and every noteworthy moment meticulously researched and vetted by the band themselves.”
The book, out Oct. 15, is priced at $70 CAD at amazon.ca and chapter.indigo.ca and $50 USD at amazon.com. All three are offering pre-order discounts.
