Niall Horan and his buddy Lewis Capaldi announced Wednesday they are embarking on a joint tour early next year.
So far, only one Canadian stop is on the schedule – May 6 at Toronto’s Scotiabank Arena.
“This is so exciting!! I’m going back on the road and this time I’m going with my best friend in the whole wide world @LewisCapaldi and the beautiful @findingfletcher," Horan tweeted.
“Can’t wait to get out there again and see you all.”
Tickets go on sale Nov. 8.
The tour kicks off April 20 in Nashville and, so far, runs until May 20 in San Jose. Horan said more dates will be announced soon.
Horan recently released "Nice To Meet Ya" ahead of the release of his sophomore album. Capaldi currently has the chart-topper "Someone You Loved."
Earlier this month, Horan told iHeartRadio he was anxious to get back on the road. “I had enough of chill, I’m ready to go," he said, adding that he has sworn off booze to prepare himself for 10 days on the road with Capaldi because both are in the line-up for iHeartRadio Jingle Ball shows in Philadelphia, New York City, Washington, Chicago and Atlanta in December.
“We have a day off after every one so he’s already excited,” Horan explained.”
The two are good friends (“He’s an absolute crazed animal,” Horan said of Capaldi. “He’s constantly funny) and have also collaborated.
“We’ve written together. One of the very few artists that I have written with...probably the only one,” Horan said. “We have a song. I haven’t heard it in awhile.”
