While performing at the iHeartRadio Jingle Ball in Los Angeles last week, Niall Horan expressed his interest in collaborating with Canada's Justin Bieber to help raise funds for those affected by the California wildfires.
Approximately four fires have broken out around Los Angeles, forcing around 200,000 people to evacuate their homes.
Bieber recently posted a video message on Instagram pledging that he wanted to use his own resources to help those struggling after the infernos:
"So I'm gonna have a conversation with some people and we are going to get moving on a solution. Obviously I'm not a fireman but obviously I can use my resources to figure out ways to get some sort of restoration in certain communities and fundraisers or whatever we can do, so I am going to get on that and in the meantime all the families and all the people who are struggling, just know that everything's going to be okay."
Horan later commented on the video saying that he would be happy to get involved.
"We both live in LA and that’s not too far from my house really where all those fires are kicking off, it’s absolutely horrific. Three to four hundred homes destroyed and people’s lives in tatters, so I thought about it when Justin reached out and sent that video,” Horan told The Mirror.
When asked about the two pop singers collaborating for charity, Horan replied: "Of course if something is going on like that it’s a no-brainer, if he needs a hand with something I’d love to give him a hand.”
