Nick Carter was on stage Monday with his fellow Backstreet Boys, only hours after sharing heartbreaking news with fans.
The 38-year-old singer’s wife Kitt, 35, suffered a miscarriage.
“God give us peace during this time,” he tweeted. “I really was looking forward to meeting her after 3 months. I’m heart broken.”
Carter later shared that Kitt was pregnant with “a little sister for Odin,” the couple’s 2-year-old son.
At first, Carter tweeted that he was not able to perform at Monday’s concert in Lima, Peru, but he later said: “This will be hard, but for the love of my fans here in Lima I’ll be on the stage tonight.”
