Thursday (Nov. 17) morning, a judge ordered Nick Gordon to pay $36,250,000 to Bobbi Kristina Brown's estate in the wrongful death case against him, AP reports.
Back in Jan. 2015, Bobbi Kristina was found unresponsive in her home's bathroom tub. The only child of Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown, she would be in a coma for six months straight, before finally passing away. Bobbi Kristina was only 22 years old.
When Fulton County Superior Court Judge T. Jackson Bedford made the ruling today, Bobby was in the courtroom. However, Gordon was not. In fact, Gordon has failed to appear at any court dates involving this wrongful death case. So in Sept. 2016, Judge Bedford ruled that the Brown estate won by default because of his consistent absence.
Now that Gordon knows the consequences of this loss -- A.K.A. the big behind dollar amount he's been ordered to cough up -- let's look at how the judge came up with this number. TMZ has a partial breakdown of it. See it below.
Now, we'll have to see exactly how Gordon will try to pay this off. He doesn't have coins like that.
