Nicki Minaj has once again pushed back the release of her new album Queen.
The rapper’s fourth album was initially set to drop on June 15 but was delayed until Aug. 10. Now it’s scheduled to come out on Aug. 17.
On Tuesday, Minaj suggested securing rights to a Tracy Chapman sample on the album is to blame.
The new release date means Queen will compete head-on with Sweetener, the new album from Minaj’s “Bed” collaborator Ariana Grande.
On Twitter, Minaj teased fans with a “surprise” coming on Thursday. She also said there’s a big announcement coming soon.
“It’s a gift that keeps on giving. It’s a dream come true for me, but for you guys as well. You’re gonna get your whole life,” she tweeted. “I hate not being able to discuss it yet but in a week & a half I’ll be able to spill."
